Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Entebbe / Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park & Top of the Falls Visit
Your Murchison Falls adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala.
Drive northwest through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing local villages, farmland, and scenic landscapes before reaching Murchison Falls National Park.
Upon arrival, enter the park and continue to the famous Top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow seven-metre gorge before plunging over 40 metres below.

Enjoy spectacular views, photography opportunities, and the powerful sound of the world’s longest river forcing its way through the rocks.
Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Wake up early for your first wildlife adventure in Murchison Falls National Park.
The morning game drive takes you across the northern sector of the park, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Uganda. Search for elephants walking through the savannah, giraffes feeding among acacia trees, buffalo herds grazing, and predators such as lions and leopards.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 3 – Optional Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest
After breakfast, enjoy an optional chimpanzee trekking experience in Budongo Forest.
Located within the Murchison Falls Conservation Area, Budongo Forest is one of Uganda’s largest natural forests and home to habituated chimpanzee communities.

During the trek, accompanied by experienced forest guides, search for chimpanzees moving through the forest canopy, feeding, communicating, and interacting with each other.
Besides chimpanzees, the forest is home to several primate species including:

- Red-tailed monkeys
- Blue monkeys

Day 4 – Departure & Optional Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Visit
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and begin your journey back to Entebbe, Kampala, or your next destination.
En route, you may visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Uganda’s only place where visitors can track white rhinos on foot.
