UGANDA SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1 – February 9th – Arriving at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda. Visiting Lake Victoria’s beach. Accommodation at “Hot Spring Villas Hotel”, Kampala
Day 2 – February 10th – Visiting the Tombs of the Buganda Kings at Kasubi, Namirembe Cathedral, Uganda National Mosque, and Amin Dada’s Palace and Torture Chambers (optional). Accommodation at “Hot Spring Villas Hotel”, Kampala
Day 3 – February 11th – Departure from Kampala early morning, visiting a local “Yellowstone” – The Male and Female hot springs in Semuliki National Park. These unique hot springs have hot water and high temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius. Lunch in Fort Portal. Moving to the Queen Elizabeth National Park and spending a night at “Little Elephant camp” with a night bonfire.
Day 4 – February 12th – Safari experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can see lions, buffalos, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, monkeys, various birds, and many other species. Night at the “Little Elephant camp”.
Day 5 – February 13th -Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Visiting the village of African Pygmies (refugees from Congo) and exploring the cultural diversity and the dramatic history of this tribe of short people, some of the first inhabitants of the earth. Boat cruise around Lake Bunyonyi and spend the night at “Echo Resort”.
Day 6 – February 14th – Romantic breakfast with the view of the lake Bunyonyi. Visiting craft markets near the lake to buy authentic gifts for your soulmates. Moving to Masaka city. Watching and learning “African twerk” – Baganda dance – and taking pictures with Equator’s sign. Back to Kampala and celebrating Valentine’s Day in a nightclub. Accommodation at “Hot Spring Villas Hotel”, Kampala
Day 7 – February 15th – Visiting Jinji town and the source of the River Nile, called “the father of African rivers”. Boat cruise on the River Nile. Accommodation at “Jinja Nile resort”.
Day 8 – February 16th – Exploring Jinja’s Busoga kingdom, watching the traditional dance of the Busoga tribe. Return to Kampala. Accommodation at “Hot Spring Villas Hotel”.
Day 9 – February 17th – Visiting local markets and craft village near Kampala. Transfer to the National Airport in Entebbe.
