Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a hotel representative or your safari driver and transferred to your hotel, located just a few minutes from the airport.
Depending on your arrival time, relax at the hotel or enjoy the beautiful lakeside surroundings of Entebbe while preparing for your gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2 – Scheduled Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip in southwestern Uganda.
Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Bwindi is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The forest also shelters hundreds of bird species, butterflies, and numerous mammals, making it one of Africa’s richest biodiversity hotspots.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge while enjoying spectacular forest views and preparing for tomorrow’s gorilla trekking experience.

Day 3 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the highlight of your Uganda safari.
Following an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a briefing by experienced ranger guides.
You will then enter the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated mountain gorilla families. Depending on the gorillas’ movements, the trek may last between two and six hours.
Once located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates as they feed, groom, play, and interact naturally within their family group.
After returning from the trek, enjoy lunch and relax at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you may choose to join an optional community walk or Batwa cultural experience to learn about the traditions of the local people living around the forest.

Day 4 – Return Flight to Entebbe & Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight back to Entebbe.
Upon arrival, you may relax in an optional day room (available at an additional cost) before transferring to Entebbe International Airport for your onward international flight.
For guests departing later in the evening, additional meals can be arranged upon request.
