Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, relax at the hotel or explore the beautiful surroundings of Entebbe before preparing for your safari adventure.

Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and depart for Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda.
The scenic drive passes vibrant towns, rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural communities before reaching Kibale, home to over 13 species of primates.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge and spend the afternoon relaxing while enjoying views of the surrounding rainforest. You may unwind by the swimming pool or cozy up beside the fireplace.

Day 3 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following an early breakfast, report to the Kibale Forest Visitor Centre for a briefing before beginning your guided chimpanzee trekking adventure.
Walk through the lush tropical forest with experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers in search of habituated chimpanzees. Besides chimpanzees, you may also encounter black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, olive baboons, and numerous bird species.
After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing spectacular crater lakes and enjoying magnificent views of the Rwenzori Mountains, often called the “Mountains of the Moon.”
Wildlife sightings are possible even before reaching your lodge.

Day 4 – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Rise early for an exciting morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of the park’s best wildlife-viewing areas.

- Waterbucks
- Hyenas
- Numerous bird species

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel, where large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and countless water birds gather along the shoreline.

Day 5 – Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi via Ishasha
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel through the Ishasha Sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions.
Following a game drive in search of these remarkable predators, continue through the scenic Kigezi Highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival in Buhoma, you may choose to visit a local craft market or enjoy an optional Batwa cultural experience before relaxing at your lodge overlooking the rainforest.

Day 6 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the highlight of your Uganda safari.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for registration and a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking experience.
Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, hike through the ancient rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated mountain gorilla families.

Once found, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
Return to your lodge in the afternoon to relax or take part in an optional community or cultural walk.

Day 7 – Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Entebbe.
Enjoy lunch at the renowned Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara before stopping at the Uganda Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and the famous water demonstration.
Continue to Entebbe where you’ll enjoy a farewell dinner before transferring to your hotel or, if preferred, directly to Entebbe International Airport for late-night departures.

Day 8 – Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy breakfast before your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey.
